Use of this site
These terms cover bevelstone.com (the “site”), which is run by Bevelstone LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company (“Bevelstone”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The site is here to describe the company and its work. You're welcome to read it, link to it, and share it. Please don't use it to break the law, to try to reach systems or information you aren't authorized to access, to interfere with how it runs, or to flood it with requests.
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of it at any time. Nothing on the site is professional advice.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bevelstone will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed US $100. Some places don't allow limits like these, so parts of this paragraph may not apply to you.
If the site links to a website we don't run, we aren't responsible for that website's content or practices.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design, graphics, and code, and the Bevelstone name and mark, belong to Bevelstone LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Fonts and other third-party components are used under their own licenses.
You may view the site, link to it, and quote short passages with credit. Beyond that, please ask before copying, republishing, or reusing its content, and don't use the Bevelstone name or mark in a way that suggests we endorse you or are affiliated with you.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely, without restriction or compensation. Please don't send us anything confidential unless we've agreed to that in writing. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, write to us and we'll look into it.
Product terms
These terms cover this website only. The site does not sell anything and has no user accounts.
Any product Bevelstone releases will be provided under its own terms, presented with that product. If a product's terms say something different from this page, the product's terms control for that product.
Custom software work is done under a separate written agreement signed by both sides. Descriptions of our work on this site are general information, not an offer or a commitment.
Governing law (Oklahoma, USA)
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Canadian County, Oklahoma, or the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, and you and Bevelstone each consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If you use the site as a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law where you live says cannot be waived.
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may update these terms; when we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
