Privacy Policy
Who we are
bevelstone.com (the “site”) is run by Bevelstone LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company based in Yukon, Oklahoma, USA (“Bevelstone”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the site and our email address handle, and what we do with it.
It covers this website and email you send us. Any product we release will come with its own privacy notice.
What we collect on this site
Very little. The site has no accounts, no forms, and nothing to buy.
Request data. A web page can only be delivered if your browser asks for it, and that request includes your IP address, your browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the pages and to protect the service from abuse. We can see totals from the provider, such as how many requests the site received and from which countries. We don't use any of it to identify you or to build a profile of you.
Your theme choice. If you pick the light or dark theme, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. The site itself sets no cookies; the only exception would be a short-lived security cookie from our hosting provider if it ever has to check that traffic is genuine.
Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it to answer you and to deal with what you wrote about.
What we don't do
We don't use analytics, advertising, tracking cookies, or tracking scripts, and the site doesn't load content from other companies. Because nothing tracks you, the site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it for advertising. We don't send marketing email or text messages, and we don't keep a mailing list.
The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Service providers
Two companies handle information on our behalf: Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers the site, and Microsoft, which currently provides our email. Each processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments. Bevelstone is in the United States, and information you send us is handled there and wherever these providers operate.
Beyond that, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order. If Bevelstone is ever merged with or acquired by another company, the information we hold may pass to that company, and this policy will keep applying to it until you are told otherwise.
Data retention & security
We keep email only as long as we need it to deal with your request and for ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep them. Our hosting provider keeps its request logs for a limited time under its own policies.
The site is made of static pages with no database of visitors, so there is very little to protect or to lose. Email is stored with our email provider and is accessible only to Bevelstone. No system is perfectly secure and we can't promise that ours is, but we keep what we hold to a minimum.
Your rights & contact
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask anything about this policy by writing to hello@bevelstone.com. We'll answer anyone who asks, wherever they live, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you additional rights. Nothing in this policy limits them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be called out on this page.
